Currently, MDRF is conducting three ground breaking studies.

1. Dental Implant Study – This study is designed to discover which implant shape and design will provide the longest service.  And even more importantly, what effect, if any, dental implants have on reversing the adverse health effects of Missing Tooth Syndrome.
2. TMJ Dysfunction Study – The purpose of this study is to design and test how best to incorporate true comprehensive multidisciplinary treatment in the successful management of the complex TMJ-D syndrome.
3. Aesthetic Porcelain Study – Manufactures of new porcelains claim them to be stronger than even porcelain-fused-to-gold restorations.  This study will track the actual real-life performance of these new crowns, to determine when, where, and how they should best be used.
